i will discuss the (extended) orthogonal (type b d) yangians x(o_n) and y(o_n) over a field of positive characteristic. using the drinfeld presentation established by jing, liu and molev, we describe the center z(y(o_n)): it is generated by its harish-chandra center together with a large p-center. this is joint work with hongmei hu.

常浩，华中师范大学副教授，研究方向为素特征域上的李代数和表示理论。在 j. lond. math. soc., represent. theory, j. pure appl. algebra, alg. rep. theory, math. proc. cambridge philos. soc. 等期刊发表论文10余篇。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目。
